The Johnny Carson Birthplace Society is a newly formed non-profit corporation whose mission is to own, preserve and promote the Johnny Carson Birthplace Home Museum and related properties and assets; to serve as a tribute to the legacy of John William Carson; and to promote tourism within the context of economic development for Corning and Adams County Iowa.

Our short range plans are taking steps to restore Johnny's home. 2010 we are giving tours by appointment & some holidays. Long range plans for the Society include a museum, gift shop and theatre.
